Intervet International BV opens its doors with Immuno Valley Symposium

Intervet/Schering-Plough Animal Health develops and produces veterinary vaccines and pharmaceutical specialties and is one of the leading global animal health companies. With more than 1700 employees the Boxmeer site is by far the largest biological and production site within the Dutch pharmaceutical industry, and an excellence center for vaccine technology. On April 22, the Dutch Minister for Economic Affairs will open the recent extension of the bacteriological manufacturing facilities in Boxmeer. Prior to the opening, Intervet/Schering-Plough Animal Health and Immuno Valley organize a symposium in Boxmeer on "Research and technology in bacterial vaccine development: opportunities for a One Health approach". As attendee of the symposium you can visit the new manufacturing facilities and have a look at the various state-of-the-art down stream processing installations, among which tangential micro filtration, ultra filtration, centrifugation and column chromatography.
